Moscow's plant to ship 6.5 mln car components to Haval's plant

MOSCOW, Feb 13 (PRIME) -- Moscow's Alfa Automotive Technologies (AAT) has signed an agreement with Tula's Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus to sell up to 6.5 million body parts for Chinese crossovers per year, Moscow's Deputy Mayor Vladimir Yefimov said on Monday.

"Under the agreement, the facility in the capital will produce 106 various body components for the popular Chinese crossovers,” Yefimov said.

“Annual output will amount to 5–6.5 million components. As a result, localization of the assembly project in the Tula Region will reach 50% already in 2023."

According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the investment and industrial policies department of Moscow, investment in the Moscow's facility stood at 2.9 billion rubles.
